Jowl 3/4 Split Shackle Features

A third hitch pin hole and included spacer enable 90-degree rotation, allowing for the mounting of hitch balls with a 3/4″ shank. This setup supports a 300 lb towing tongue weight and a 3,500 lb gross trailer weight, while accepting Class I/II hitch balls.
• Abrasion-Resistant Design: Unlike standard shackle receivers with sharp edges that can damage soft shackles, synthetic ropes, tree savers, and strap loops, the Mohawk 2.0 features a large radius on the main mounting holes outer edges. The “Raw Dog” uncoated option is ready to add primer and paint or powder coating so you can color match your vehicle or just add any finish of your choosing. Only the Jowl hooked bodies should be powder coated, not the pin. Coating the pin will hinder the assembly functionality.
