PowerTray’s J-hooks are custom made in America to our specifications. They feature high quality SAE 304 stainless steel, so there is never a worry about rust or battery corrosion. PowerTray’s J-hooks are also much larger then OEM J-hooks, with a 5/16″ diameter shaft compared to the OEM’s, which are an M6 thread. The hook itself features a cross hatch pattern which allows for a better grip on the vehicle’s body. We also include lockingserrated flange nuts to securely fasten the PowerTray Dual Circuit Breaker Battery Tie Down to your vehicle.
Why do we include 2 different lengths of J-hooks?
The Mounting locations Toyota uses in the engine bay to secure the battery to the body are in different locations from the front J-hook to the rear J-hook. The front J-hook mounting location is 2″ lower then the rear mounting location. The 10″ J-hook is used for the front mounting location and the 8″ J-hook is used in the rear mounting location.

Longer J-hooks are required for taller then stock batteries, such as group 31 batteries.
