What is a side awning?

Side awnings with roof bars or racks can be fitted to any vehicle, SUV, and Cargo van. Awnings attach to your vehicles roof or rack and are opened by hand; pull-out or roll-out is the most common. Canvas is attached to a strong aluminum metal frame supported by legs and secured by pegged guide ropes.

  • The Universal Pull-Out Retractable Vehicle Side Awning includes mounting hardware. It can be upgraded with the Quick Release Awning Mount Kit or Easy-Out Awning Brackets for best results when mounted on Front Runner Racks.
